Engaged in the Act of Social Practice

Since 1967 when Hope Sandrow was named Miss Cleaner Air, she has actively engaged in social and environmental activism through her art. These not only local (open air studio spacetime) but international (Secret Garden - Art in the Embassies, Jakarta) art initiatives engage and bring attention to the community (our communities), the land we live on, and the flora and fauna that rely on healthy habitats.
